Rubber is a term that is associated with several elastic and resilient materials. These substances, or materials, can be moulded into many different shapes and items of great use.

The rubber moulding industry consists of three basic types of industry, namely, compression, transfer and injection. Compression rubber moulding is the simplest and also the cheapest to manufacture. Transfer rubber moulding involves more wastage and furthermore the moulds are expensive to create, however, the results from transfer rubber moulding are of better quality than compression moulding. Injection moulding is more sophisticated than the previous mentioned moulding processes, but it is also the most expensive moulding process.
